The text you enter is their grade for the Assignment. of 7Ħ Grading an Ungraded Text Assignment Gradebook Class Rosters Grade Assignment Assignments with a Grading Type of Not Graded (Text) provide you with a text field of up to 15 characters for each student in the class. Grading an Ungraded Assignment To grade an ungraded Assignment that is, to open it so that you can record information about each student you simply click anywhere in the ungraded Assignment s column just like any graded Assignment. You can then use the color scheme feature of Categories to color code your ungraded Assignments. However, you can also create an Assignment Category called for example - Information with a default Grading Type of Not Graded. Assignment Categories and Ungraded Assignments You can create an ungraded Assignment in any Category. Ungraded Assignments are identified by having a UG in place of the maximum possible points in the Assignment column header. of 7ģ Identifying Ungraded Assignments on the Class Roster Screen To grade an ungraded Assignment to open it to record information simply click in the column, like you would do with any other Assignment. Undated Assignments should be given sequence #s to help organize them in the spreadsheet. Undated Assignments sort to the lowest possible date they sort to the left hand side of the spreadsheet on the Class Rosters screen. Undated Ungraded Assignment You may also specify that the ungraded Assignment is undated by clearing the Due Date field and leaving it blank. Fill in the required fields and select a Grading Type of either Not Graded or Not Graded (Text). Click on the Add Assignment Quick Link 2. There are two types of ungraded Grading Types: Not Graded This gives you the ability to record yes or no for each student Not Graded (Text) This gives you the ability to record any small piece of text (up to 15 characters) about every student.
